On the Expeditions page, you can either assign each order separately to a courier, or select multiple orders and mass assign them.
After assigning expeditions to a courier, you can optionally generate a rollcart (see What is a rollcart? section for details). To do this, select the orders click on the “Add rollcart” icon on the top or bottom of the table.
Once the rollcart is created, you can print it and have the courier use it to track his deliveries. He can also collect delivery signatures on it.
The rollcart can also be used to calculate the optimal route for a courier’s deliveries.
To do this, first pick a start position, and optionally an end position. If you have a position already set for the courier's hub, this will be the default start/end position for the rollcart. The positions for each shipment should already be computed by the system soon after creating the shipments.
Now click “Optimize route”. This will reorder the shipments to create the shortest route through all of them. This is the same order the courier will see them in his mobile app. Click “See route” to see a map of the route.
If some expeditions seem out of place on the map, or if the number in front of the expedition is "0", it means there was a problem finding the coordinates for that address. That may happen if the address is misspelled or incomplete. You can check and fix each address in the rollcart by clicking "Edit position".
